Jonathan heads the litigation practise. He was first admitted in 1989, and has practiced law for over 19 years. He has previously practised as a Barrister and Solicitor outside of Queensland, and has practised in Queensland since 2001.
Jonathan is the head of our litigation and dispute resolution work group and services a wide range of matters.
Jonathan’s particular areas of experience include construction and associated transactions, investments and disputes. We represent owners, builders, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, sub-contractors and others in the construction industry. He is also one of the few Lawyers with extensive experience in the Commercial and Consumer Tribunal. Jonathan also has a working understanding and experience in labour and employment issues, insolvency matters with a construction law flavour. He is a member of the HIA.
The firm also conducts general commercial litigation, including debt and agency claims, joint ventures, property and real estate litigation, employment law, insolvency – both personal and corporate, banking and finance litigation, and insurance.
The firm does not undertake personal injuries or family law matters, however, we are retained where specialist practitioners in those fields are involved in a case with wider commercial issues and interests.
